Its been 3 weeks now since I made my first attempt to get Mark Gust to contact me. My engine, completely built long block with less than 10k miles is in all likely hood a total writeoff. Developed a severe "lifter tick" took it apart and the photos pretty much tell the story. One lifter is completly worn through the top until the lifter piston is sticking through the top of the lifter. Sent the cam and lifter to JWT for their analysis, they came back with the cause of damage was probably debris. All the cams have wear damage, most likely with the amount of metal circulating so do all the bearings etc.After 4 phone calls and 4 emails Mark has yet to respond, their customer service sucks big time. Please look at all other options before you patronize this company, they are really nice guys when they are taking your money. If anyone has any suggestions how I can get SGP to stand behind their work please let me know.
